THE RACE FOR AFRICA

THE RACE FOR AFRICA

"THE BERLIN CONFERENCE"
For years and years, it has always been, "...THE BERLIN CONFERENCE..."
Years and years down the road,
Should we still blame "THE BERLIN CONFERENCE?"

Africa! I can still "Hear them Bargaining",
I can still "Hear them Bidding",
And I can still "Hear them Scrambling for you and Partitioning you".
Not in Berlin or Anywhere Else...
But in your Courtyard with YOU on the "Dinner Table",
"Serving Yourself to Them"

Africa! This time your lovers are just too many,
"Young and old" with sweet blindings,
Just to woe you to bed...
But sadly, you are madly and deeply-in love
With all of them
You have given "Them" Access to your Resources,
Through your marriages...
That paint a Rosey picture with a dirty bed.

Africa! You have sold Generations and Generations...
In your marriages,
But how will you "divorce them" to protect yourself and your children?
Who will vindicate you...? Africa!

"Africa is a dark continent..." They said,
"Africa is the continent of the future..." They say,
Mama Africa, "They" have been Racing for YOU,
"They" are Racing for YOU...
Yet you are not Racing for you or Anyone in "This Race"!
Who has bewitched YOU MAMA?
When will you wake up from your Slumber?
