What is a Father?
He is a pillar of the family.
He is the strength and back bone.
He takes pride to care to nurture his family.
He gets married, has children. He supports them and provides for them.
Then one day they grow up and have their own families.
He starts to age, and starts a new life once again alone.
He is still a pillar for the family.
Age comes like a thief, it comes to steal life.
Then one day he can no longer cope,
he will lose what he worked for.
Then he wakes up in a place filled with strangers
He loses his dignity, but his faith can not be stolen.
He will know when his time is right he will start again
New, refreshed, young and strong again
He will look into the heavens and see the doors open.
The stairs appear and Jesus extends His Hand,
Come home my son, you have done well.
As he climbs the stairs, his youth and strength return.
Now you have the greatest Pillar known to man.
Rest in peace, I will always love you dad
