What God Said That

My tears to you are fuel for your mouth to speak
Your words are like seeds that sprout under the pressure of heat
Yet it must be so easy, to use God's word in twisted ways
I still wonder how you sleep

To pick a scripture and claim that it's the reason
Because I love who I Love, I mustn't look you in the eye
If they ask if I'm colorful I'm asked to deny.
The same cross that I pray to, is taken into denial

What lies ahead is a kiss on the pew
It remembers all that I've faught for as it can't talk but sees
Every bit of love in this church I thought was mine
Deleted

The seeds are now plants,
The plants become trees
The trees turn to paper
The paper, this letter to you.
