I tired of love
since despite love, the world hated.
I tired of forgiveness
since despite nobility, the world condemned.
I tired of crying
since despite my sorrow, the world laughed.
I tired of remembering
since despite my fate, the world hated.
I tired of hate
since despite my bitterness, the world sang.
I tired of holding on
since despite my calm, the world gave in.
I tired of waiting
since despite my pause, the world continued.
So I decided to live
my way.
