To the man I love

Mrcialyza Paña 2002 (Island Garden City of Samal)

To the man I love

I once love a man
I gave him everything I can
He's the first man I've said I love you
He's also the first man who let me go

Let's go back to the memories I build with him
The memories I wanted to make again
He's the only man who showed me what true love is
And he also grant me the greatest bliss

When I cry, he lift me high
He lift me high like I'm in the sky
He wipe my tears and give me kiss
In my happiest days he doesn't miss

He raise me alone
Make living on his own
Never I felt emptiness
Instead all I felt was sweetness

Everyday he's with his friends
Drunk and wild that's how it ends
I will carry him then he will shout at me
But I don't care cause he's my bae

Writing this poem makes me cry
Because he left me with the question why
I love him and it's not a lie
But why does he gave me his sweetest goodbye?

Cancer is the antagonist of our story
It takes him from me without saying sorry
We're just sitting at the corner of an empty room
Then he just disappeared and it sounds like boom

I once love a man and it's you
Until now it's also you
Papa you're the best man I know
And each day I love you
