Single Rose

This single rose before me
resembles what we shared
so unique and beautiful
growing without care
then one day the sun stopped shining
our relationship came to an end
my single rose shall never bloom again
Love hurts sometimes that's just the way it goes
but a tear will remain forever upon my single rose
