Recess Time

For 9 months and 180 days I would sit alone on the swings
As I watched my energetic classmates play with their friends for hours
I would have a few friends every year
But by the time we have entered the next grade,we have completely forgotten eachother
Our school provided a wide space for students to play on including a kickball field
I would like to sit on the bleachers,but Ms.Smith wouldn’t very pleased
She would scold at me to play soccer with the other students
Yet no one would allow me to join their team
It wouldn’t matter even if they would let me on their team
Since I would be the main reason why we would lose to the other team
So there I would sit,on the swings as the days went by
Just me and my thoughts during recess time,until one kid came up to me to say hi
