Why Does the Caged Bird Sing?

Why does the caged bird sing?
Aidé moi! Aidé moi!
When will winter die with spring?
Sauve moi! Sauve moi!

The hunter catches the fox by surprise
Quand une telle tragédie finirat-elle?
And soon one day all things will die
Aidez-nous! Aidez-nous!

So how does the angel fly?
Comment est-ce qu’elle…
If her wings are clipped and blood run dry?
Le sang s’assèche…

From the earth borne
Né de la terre…
One day shall die
Mourir sur la terre…

So why does the caged bird sing?
Dis-nous… Dis-nous…
No one knows except for me
il n’y a pas d’espoir…

Let the bird out of its cage!
il veut s’envolar!
It’s the only way for seasons to change!
Apporter le changement!
The hunter and the fox are friends!
Malgré leures différences!
The angel is bound to walk until the end!
ll y a de l’espoir dans le ciel!

I know why the caged bird sings!
Pourquoi change-t-il?
That’s the secret of the broken world brings
L’espoir n’est pas perdu si seulement tu chantes
