If I Only Could.

Tara birch 1974 (Sudbury)

If I could only help you know, just who I am, I know we'd grow.
If we could only just accept, the things we've shown, without the shame, accept the truth, with all we've known.
Our life is short, loves not a game, forget the lies, and all false fame.
Can we just believe in all we are, without life's continuing wounds and scars?
If I could only help you know, just who I am, maybe we'd grow.
If I could only let you in, maybe then we could begin.
Our life is short, loves not a game, so forget the lies, and all false fame...
