Days Gone Past

I've seen the dew settle over the forest,
And flowers grow and wilt.
I've witnessed many tears
from unbearable pain that's felt.
I've seen children grow up
with families of there own.
And parents grow old and die
sometimes left all alone.
Sadness turned to pain
then pain turned to guilt.
You left God behind didn't you dear child?
So you deal with the pain still.
Well pain has turned to burdens
ones that are to heavy for you to shoulder.
So won't you please come back to God
And hand those burdens over?
