Dearheart

Fate...
As cruel as it can be
Can't seem to take you from me
Through time and space
All that I ask to see
your smiling face
and to be...
your darlingheart.

Fate...
of which has begun
gives no fear or shame
I hold my head up high
you chase away my fears
you take away the pain
the breath of new life
and to see...
my dearheart.

Fate...
which will bring us together one day
and all that we can say
you will be lonely no more
and all I can see
as lovely as can be
your smile,
only you...
my dearheart.

Distance, not fear
for I am always near
Never should you fear
to no longer shed those tears
for my dearheart, my love, is with you.
