Lavender Leaves

Love is a willingness
A walk through the darkest of nights
A journey to find connection
one not switched like a light
It's a seed to be nurtured, a tree to be grown.
It's not what you touch, somethings you can't hold.
It's the roots of a flower, seeking water to grow.
As leaves reach for sun, inside of lavender snow.
It's beauty and pain for the sake of a soul.

About this poem

Taking shots in the dark. This is the first poem I've ever written. Criticism is welcomed.
