Puppeteer

As I become acquainted with you, I feel the strings being attached to me.
You are a puppeteer who would consider those around you as your puppets.
Your intentions are sugar-coated, dangerously ( and most know that ).
Yet something about the way your tongue controls the strings you attach to us
leaves us helpless.

You use those strings to obtain your desires, be they harmful or harmless.
And you crush us like dried herbs and we do nothing about it;
only because we can’t resist the strings controlled by your speech.
We don’t run away, or rather, we can’t.
Because a puppeteer will forever have control of their puppets.
