Finally

I can finally see the truth
Behind all my lies,
Crying out all these years
I’ve led a disguise,
I live within my head
And I can’t get out ,
Feeling so trapped
That I don’t know what to think about,
My heart is racing
I feel the thud
Trying to live a daydream but I can feel it in my blood,
Where its boiling up and you can’t see
Where your hearts going but you can’t be,
That person who cries so many tears so
I man up to face my fears,
That person who takes a deep breath because I need to show I’ve got strength,
I need to show that I am here until the end         until life takes its own final bend
(I am braver than what I thought
I’m actually strong inside
These feelings i will overcome
And i will  firmly abide)
But I’ve finally come to realise
this is who I am
Someone who overthinks but does what they can
