Fire and Brimstone

I step into the cascade of warmth, becoming new
Unfeeling and unloving, unbreathing and unhurting
My cold dreamless skin gets hit with warmth and loving
I bask in it, less love no more, I lather and dream
Breath slight I’m relieved and needless, loved and unhurt
I stand as the cascade of warmth lets go I, no longer needed
The last minute, I am broken and lost, unloved and hurt
All good things come to an end like a shower running out
of warm water

About this poem

Bored and tired I took a shower, I thought and dreamed and wanted to share those thoughts and dreams with you.
