Today, Tomorrow, and Yesterday

Rebecca Bellig 1972 (Camp lejeuene nc)

Today I am where I need to be
Today I left the past behind me
Yesterday I was not in the place I am today
Yesterday is in the past, I let it be
Tomorrow I will be where I need to be
Tomorrow I will look to the future and grab each opportunity
Today I am all I can be
Tomorrow I will have all I need
Yesterday is in the past where it needs to be
   I AM ENOUGH TODAY!

About this poem

I went through chemical dependency treatment and one of the women would always make the affirmation 'I am enough today'.
