The Pitt

Chancy Halliday 1988 (Pueblo)

Over there by that old stone, a pit, whos name and depth unknown doth burrow deep beneath the ground and echo's loud small pebbles round.
Oh, what a quest! Oh, what a feat, to go explore that unknown deep. To know it well by smell and touch, of diamonds, gold, dwarves and such.
Who could go and who could see? Not I, nor my friend and me. For father went and sealed it up, he capped said pit up double tough. Now only do my dreams still roam down that old pit by that old stone.
