Analysis of Tossing Waves
(note to reader: this is a completely fiction story except emotionally wise.)
Tarnished gold waves
Look friendly enough,
But you see, you didn't see the things
That I saw, all that bad stuff.
They told "come, come! We won't hurt you..."
And I was stupid enough to believe what they said.
But you know, I guess I couldn't help it,
'Cause at the time they didn't look so dead
ly.
They waited till I was out there,
Practically swamped with fish,
To crash and rock, start up a storm
As if for me to die was their only wish.
Now I'm still alive,
At this point I was half choked,
Floating in the sea,
Because, you know, I almost croaked.
I washed up on the beach,
The one that used to be my home,
But now I'll never go back,
Forever I'll roam.
