Analysis of Today I Will Choose

Today I will choose to smile
and breathe in sunny air.
Joyfulness will shape my style and wash away all care.
Today I will choose to serve
and bake someone a cake.
Helpfulness will brace my verve and wash away heartache.
Today I will choose to part
and show mercy at large.
Forgiveness will stir my heart and wash away moot charge.
Today I will choose to love
and lift one spirit high.
Thoughtfulness will aid my dove and wash away faint sigh.
Today I will choose to yield
and give others a chance.
Selflessness will form my field and wash away askance.
Today I will choose to roll
and make each moment count.
Thankfulness will fill my soul and wash away loss mount.
