Analysis of To Be Used By God

I do not want to be a caterpillar
that can never turn into a butterfly.
I do not want to be a car that can
never give anyone a ride.
I do not want to be a heart
that will never beat, because
a heart that cannot beat
will never be alive

I want to be use by God
I want to do His will
because if God cannot use
me why am I ‘m here?
I hope I never become useless
like a tree that can never bear fruit
because, that tree is only
good for firewood.

So when I speak when He
wants me to speak and
when I sing when He wants
me to sing and when I do
what He calls me to do
surely I am allowing
God the Creator of
All men kind to use
me as He consequently
designed.
