Analysis of The Only Way To Say It
You asked me once again, If I loved you
an answer never came, I thought you knew,
Then you walked away not looking back
I stood there feeling numb, what should I do.
I almost wrote a letter, just mere words
my phone call was all planned, never did I call,
I almost asked your friend, but you'd be mad
In love with you my dear, you watched me fall.
Even though you smiled, you looked so sad
I then walked up to you, I felt really bad,
The place went deadly silent, I said to you
I love you so much darling, believe It's true.
Words can say so much, when they be written
so much can be said, when on the phone,
Nothing says the way I love you sweetheart
when looking in my eyes as we're alone.
