Analysis of Thank the Son
Ronald Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)
The sun is like God.
He gives us power,
He's so bright, we cower,
Yet we can't tell
When its our last hour.
Its dawn, I want tea.
Its day, lets play.
Its sunset, eat dinner.
Its night, sleep tight.
Are our bio rhythms
Boring until we're gone?
If the sun were void
We would be destroyed.
There's so much evil
Yet were a beautiful flower.
