Analysis of RED ALERT (Stanzas 1-8)

Let us all be on the look-out
As we keep on moving about
So that we won't perchance ignore
Just that which we are waiting for.

We oft become tired and weak
Because we find not what we seek,
But if we could keep searching on
We will one day to it be drawn.

Sometimes too we may be confused
And apathy in us induced,
Because of what others opine
Till we to fate ourselves resign.

If we could be serious indeed
And do not misconceptions breed,
Then we will be distracted not
From finding the Truth that we ought.

Let us keep open mind and eyes
In order that we recognise
The Truth we seek should it we find
But not act as if we were blind.

It is a task for everyone
And which must not be left undone:
That we be convinced of our goal
And what in this life is our role.

This living conviction is brought
Only by what we have been taught
By Him Whom Jesus said will come
When the earth will to Judgment come.

After Jesus had come and gone
It was this blessed Promised One
That we were told to wait upon
For He too is to God a Son.
