Analysis of Prayer of Wisdom
I pray for man
to understand
I know you hear his cry
his tears are wept, but never kept
yet no one knows just why.
I pray for man
to understand,
and listen to his sigh
to see the son when fights are won
by never asking why
I pray for man
to understand.
His sorrows are a spell
profound and deep, he shouldn't keep
a simple piece of Hell.
if all the prayers were His tears,
they'd fill a wishing well
I pray for man
to understand
the only WORD to tell.
