Analysis of On the edge

Karolina Marszałkowska 1993 (Gdańsk)

Altough I left past behind
I can't look into future's eyes
How can I raise my head
When it's still so full of lies

Lies that are coming out
From my lips as poisonous snakes
I'll let them out from myself
For as long as it takes

And it takes inhuman power
To change all I have become
I was a growing flower
But I am destroyed now

I destroyed my living heart
It's not needed anymore
I'm nothing but unused card
That is not worth to bet for

I'd bet my life has no meaning
With all these surrounding lies
I don't know why am I living
When my mind slowly dies

My mind denies my senses
And it's no use going against
I'm weak in the inside and yet
I'm not able to cry when it rains
