Analysis of Nights Pilot KC
Somewhere,on the long stretch of nights cold slippery back,
he commands the huge hulking mass of steel.
Hurtling forward into the chill of the mountain air,
like riverboat pilots before him and engineers of trains and times long past.He accepts the nights mission.
The steel gears mesh together,
propelling the behemoth and its twin trailers.
With more power than a score of men,
this beast of burden humbly accepts the yoke. With a flash of fire ,
yet another cigarette ignites in the darkness as Kevin rolls on.
