Analysis of New Years Eve is over

The sparkling fireworks are over
Paper, cardboard, plastic all over
Broken bottles, cups and glass
Forgotten is the music of the brass
All the remains stick out in the sun
The party must have been really fun
But now the place looks ugly
Yesterday the mood was snuggly
The lights had brightened the hearts
Rackets, jumping crackers and darts
Now people are having a hangover
And in the frosty sun they hover
What shall they do with the mess?
What do you think? Take a guess?
