Analysis of Independent Man
I've been a winner, I've been a loser
A woman chaser and a boozer
I've been a mover, I've been a shaker
A lie'n cheat'n heartbreaker
I've been a player, I've been a schemer
A high school rebel and a dreamer
I've been a student, I've been a teacher
I've even tried to be a preacher
I've been a giver, I've been a taker
A jet mechanic and a baker
I've been a soldier, I've been a fighter
But now my days are look'n brighter
Cause you have changed me now
And turned my life around
And you are always here
To be my helping hand
And I'm a strong, courageous,
Independent man
