Analysis of In My Thoughts

In the back ground music plays,
A warm night beneath the stars
Mesquite burning fills the air
Sipping on wine and my hearts in his hands,

And in my thoughts I think
Talk to me, fill my mind
Time with you is always kind
Grab my hand, don't let me go
Loving you is all I've known
Kiss my lips, and hold me tight
Everything about you feels so right

Lying in bed his hand on my face
I whisper to him you make me feel safe
Then holding his hand as we drive
He whispers to me this is our place.

And in my thoughts I hopelessly think
100 years may pass
But this love for you will always last…
