Analysis of If only

If I could go back in time and make a few revisions
I wouldn't be so unsure of all my decisions.
I'd have so much confidence in all my choices
I wouldn't be bothered by these nagging voices.
Without uncertainty my mind would be at ease
I'd be admired for my physiological expertise.
Sought after for advice on happiness and love
Living the life most only dream of.
I'd never think with my heart, I'd have intuative senses
I'd be protected from hurt by my hearts defenses.
My mind wouldn't be in such disarray.
I'd be loved by you more everyday
Smothering you wouldn't be possible because you'd always want me near
Loving me wouldn't be hard, there'd be nothing to fear.
I'd never over analyze words that you've expressed
I'd never be concerned with seeming obsessed.
With a few changes I know life would be great
If I could go back in time I could alter my fate.
