Analysis of I Was Told

I was told as a young boy
That we were free
But i have only felt encaged
I was told i could be
Anything I wanted to be
But i failed at even being me
I was told that the world
Was such wonderful and beautiful place
But I have seen nothing of what i was told

Were they lies to keep a dreamer dreaming?
Or to keep the blind man from seeing to truth
Does this place really exist?
Someone beyond my sight

To answer these questions would be foolish
For I am as free as i choose to be
I am what I am because of my chooses
And I see only what I choose to see

Jymmy Creasy

I'm a working class skin, who has no faith in the future of the world. It's only downhill from here. I pray every night for the end and wake up every morning happier than the day before. In the chaos of my life I have found peace in my own sadness. All I have are the clothes on my back and the shoes on my feet and I love it that way... I'm not a rich man and never will be not because it's out of reach but because I hate money and greedy people... Everything I have ever have or will have I will end up giving away. "And call a man a fool, If for wealth he doesn't strive? Well then, Mr, you're a better man than I," more…
