Analysis of Forgiveness
Your eyes call to me,
like a Siren to the Sailors soul beckoning me to
certain death
Resisting, existing, warring with tears
heat in my neck, chest rising, falling, burning.
The blue of a a hundred oceans and a thousand
skies swelling with storm
I am haunted by them
I release, I relent, I receive what I deserve
Hunger, hurt, need, confusion, my burden to carry
I must hold accountable for my actions
Despair and betrayal are my reward
How I long for the forgiveness in your eyes
seeing love for me once more
