Analysis of Forget God

When all else fails we turn to God
for sympathetic grace.
When all is well we forget God
and flaunt another face.

When all alone we turn to God
to fill the empty space.
When all links call
we forget God and find another place.

When all astray we turn to God
for guidance in the race.
When all on course
we forget God and hunt another chase.

When all distraught we turn to God
to find a solid base.
When all composed
we forget God and pray another case.
