Analysis of Deceptive Heart

The sound of my own anxious heart,
Pounding at my chest,
Knocking at my throat,
My night carries no rest.

The thought of spending hours,
Shiverously lying there, still,
In your absence, there's pain, my love,
An univited, discomforting chill.

The long and lonely nights
How I despise them so,
Lying there questioning tomorrow,
And why you're letting me go.

The sunrise brings a sad comfort,
Lying there bitterly, still,
I hope today wears a new outfit,
And all that I need, you will.

The distance you've created, my love,
Stretching us further apart,
However big the space between,
You cannot lie to your heart.

An undeniable connection made,
By intimacy and the heart,
Beyond any lunguistic words, my love
Your denial's become your art.

For if I pass out of sight,
You will not forget me,
For what we gave and had, my love,
It doesn't go away so gently.

Humbly, you'll never find her like me,
So quickly you forget,
The uncountable things you love me for,
My absence shall be an undying regret.

Your touch, your kiss, you loved me so,
You had me from the start,
Pulling back and leaving me now,
My love, you hold a deceptive heart.
