Analysis of Cries Un-ignored

Former Yugoslavia we have not forgotten your slaughter.

Cries from war torn Sarajevo are forever echoed.

The killing fields of Cambodia have not been

buried in our hearts and minds.

People of oppressed North Korea we hear your shrieks of agony.

Sierra Leone you are not alone.

Horrified images from the holocaust shall never leave us.

Sudan you have not been forsaken by your fellow man.

Impoverish war torn Africa has not been abandoned.

Israeli and Palestinians we feel your pain.

Iran’s cries for liberation are not ignored.

Bali, Casablanca, Madrid, Tanzania, Kenya,

and New York City

Your blood was not shed in vein.

Evilness knows no boundaries but love an compassion

Know no worthy adversary.

Past, present, and future voices crying in pain

We hear you and you shall not be ignored.
