Analysis of Comic Relief

We must find comic relief in a world of pain.
Otherwise affliction will drive us all insane.

We must find comic relief in a world of hate.
Otherwise revulsion will hook us up as bait.

We must find comic relief in a world of war.
Otherwise depression will drop us to the floor.

We must find comic relief in a world of law.
Otherwise inspection will show us every flaw.

We must find comic relief in a world of dupe.
Otherwise deception will land us in the soup.

We must find comic relief in a world of fear.
Otherwise suspicion will stab us with a spear.

We must find comic relief in a world of need.
Otherwise elusion will give us hearts to bleed.

We must find comic relief in a world of hurt.
Otherwise dejection will mire us in the dirt.
