Analysis of Columbia

A crew of seven
serving mankind
go down in history
a temporal rip in time
may they fly where they please
on a wing and a prayer
reaching horse-nebula latitudes
far, far away from pain
an eternity away from damnation's lair
may God comfort each and every loved one
give them angels strength and grace
every wife, husband, mother, father,
daughter, and son
thank you for your integrity
your hard work and your play
may your names be written
in the book of life
as they are written in the stars
heroes of the modern day
