Analysis of Being Human
Brenda K Ramirez 1961 (Tx)
Life, love, death and hate
Pass through the eternal gate
Sex, emotion, betrayal or trust
Giving or greed or lust
Devotion, need, want or desire
Inside burns an endless fire
More, more, more, no less
Walk through the door, just confess
Deception, perception, familiarity or change
Within or beyond range
More than or never enough
Dare you call my bluff
Promises so empty or so full
Opposite directions they pull
Time too little or too much
Sensitive to the touch
Who we were and who we are
So near and yet so far
What is and is yet to be
I look but cannot see
