Analysis of Perhaps
Jonathan Michael Gallivan 1972 (Toronto)
Perhaps I'm the little shimmer of light from a particle in the snow. Maybe one person has seen me, so I become real. Perhaps I'm a colourful bird who landed expertly on a branch in the sun showing off the perfection of my feathers. Someone looking through the window saw me, so I became real. But, perhaps we are all real regardless... and nobody needs to see us do anything to make us so.
