Analysis of It”
Candy 1980 (Edmonton)
I have been conditioned...
More then you (or I) will ever truly know.
It affects me in every aspect of my life.
It takes away my control - daily,
and applies itself in ways I cannot consciously affect.
Inevitably... it is defining me.
And I hate it for it.
I cannot improve. I cannot move forward.
I cannot supersede it - regardless of my many fruitless attempts.
I utterly give into it...
the weight it; constantly imposing upon me.
I am a servant and slave to it.
It has become me,
And I don’t even know what “it” is...
