Tu me desplais, quoy que belle tu soys,
Tu me desplais, croy moy, je le confesse,
Et, bien qu'a moy tu desplaises, sans cesse
Je suy contreint ton amour toutesfoys.

Ton doulx regard, ta plus qu'humaine voix,
Ton port divin, tes graces, ma Deesse,
Me font t'aimer, mais ceste amour me laisse
Par la fierté, dont meurdrir tu me doys.

Ainsi le dieu, qui mon ame martire,
En ton amour, or me chasse, or m'attire,
Monstrant rigueur, et parfaite beaulté :

L'une m'enflame, et l'autre me rend glace,
Ainsi à toy m'atrait la bonne grace,
Tost m'en deboute une grand' cruaulté.
