Analysis of Twin Flame

You're the soul that expects my intention.
You're the shadow that sees my reflection.
I'm the heart that voices your emotion.
It's the essence of us and is always in motion.
When I look into your eyes, I see everything I am, and everything I am not.
You so easily reveal all that I've done- All I've thought.
Your passion and intellect echo back to me, only to be lost in a silence that isn't quite ready to love and still be free.
I see your shadows and what you hold back.
I'll never regret pouring my heart on the floor so we would never lack.
We're like an expression that is hard to define.
And waiting in the stillness is our spark - and a love so divine.
Just be my shadow, be my light, and I will match your flame.
We are opposites that will forever attract.
For there isn't another soul that could ever be one and the same.

About this poem

It's about 2 people who share the same soul, found each other in this lifetime, and mirror each other so perfectly, but one soul mate isn't ready.
