Analysis of Temporal Conflux

Destiny Hanson 1998 (Duluth, Minnesota)

Time is a valuable thing.

As the fabric of space-time slowly twists and pulls apart;

Time will become wonky and uncontrolled.

It certainly seems as though,

Humans do not care about this.

As we slowly speed towards the future,

As the confines of time and space shatter,

So does our collective sanities.

The temporal conflux is what keeps everything going.

About this poem

So honestly, it's hard to explain any of my poems because I run thorough esotericism philosophy and I have an esoteric nature. This was inspired by my favorite Pokemon spinoff song Temporal Tower from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky, but not only that - when I close my eyes I can see the fabric of space-time ripping. As ecosystems and biodiversity collapses, so does the fabric of space-time. If it were to shatter, bad things would happen. As it stands, with how everything is unfolding, it certainly seems like everything is just peachy though.

Destiny Hanson

Hi! I actually go by a completely different name than my birth name but it's fine; I'm a disabled, nonbinary and queer af person who specialized in free verse poetry. It seems as though I've been writing in free verse my whole life without knowing until more recently, and that's the annoying part. I live in a group home, planning on going to college to learn more poetic forms on top of my free verse and words so I can get better at my proses and poetry. I LOVE Pokemon, I LOVE video games, i LOVE rock music and I absolutely love a lot of different things. I go under the name of "The Spiteful Poet" on Twitter and Facebook - because I have a lot of fire and am incredibly spiteful towards existence currently, and "Felix Wise" for my chosen name as a nonbinary person. Please respect my chosen name - there's a special meaning behind why I chose my name, and a story. I also go under the pen name of "Hydri", for reasons I will not specify to anyone unless the time comes to it, as someone with an esoteric nature. I run Actually Autistic Voices and The Neurodivergent Outlaw on Facebook, pages I created myself but I'm struggling keeping up with all of my social media activities, especially trying to shift into other things than social media even though I write poetry with a keyboard, not pencil and pen. I am a philosopher and I run information influx - an overload of information, my philosophy is esotericism. If you ever have any questions please let me know, I'm happy to educate on anything if my memory permits! more…
