Analysis of Thank you for coming
Melody Martinez 1986 (Texas)
In this quiet space where memories dwell,
You came to stand, to pause, to tell
Of bonds that time can never sever,
Your presence, a comfort, now and forever.
Thank you for coming, through distance and tears,
To honor a life we held so dear.
Your respect and gentle loving embrace,
A solace in this solemn place.
In shared silence, in whispered prayer,
Your presence speaks of the love we share.
For this gift of you, here, today,
Gratitude flows in every word we say.
Thank you all for coming, for the light you bring.
For adding to life's beautiful string.
