Analysis of To My Human Parents

Dear Mom and Dad,  I remember the 1st time I saw you, your eyes filled with tears as you picked me up,I was scared and shaking I remember you holding me so tight and telling me im safe now that everything is going to be OK but I've heard those words b4 I believed them trusted them loved them, they threw me outside in  the cold  no food no water no shelter I cried and scratched at the door but no one ever came, I finally gave up im starving my belly hurts I can't stop shaking im cold I walked and walked as humans passed me by no help at all..what did I do that was so bad 4 them to stop loving Me? I waited all day for them to come home I greeted them sat pretty went and got my toys I went outside like a good boy I followed you room to room and tried to protect you and love you and barked really loud to warn intruders off to protect you I loved you why couldn't u keep me and love me protect me like I did you like u promised me? My new mom made that promise 11 years ago she says we are together till death do us part and I believe her she gives me kisses and pets me and is happy to see me when she gets home I still try to sit pretty and do tricks but my body is older and can't do it but she tells me good boy that I did great she tells me she loves me all the time even when I steal her covers and heating pad..I follow her room to room and she feeds me off a spoon or fork I'm so loved now but I still think of you and wonder why but it doesn't matter really..ok I gotta go here comes my mommy....
