Analysis of Fire of Love

Brittany Rott 1988 (Carlisle, PA)

Fire of love, growing brighter inside of me every day.
Never to be extinguished from my heart, my soul.
Consuming me with his flames.
Spreading deeper, tougher,
Becoming indestructible,
With each touch, each look, each kiss.
It illuminates my body,
Engulfing me in an inferno of sparks.
Burning his name to my heart, my soul,
Devouring my past, my faults, my regrets.
Dissolving my destructive thoughts.
Breaking through my walls of dread, misery, pain.
Awakening my ecstasy.
Producing a craving beyond my control.
Constructing embers behind my eyes,
Triggering me to see,
Only him, only love, only flames.
