Analysis of Polly's Bags

Too early yet
For Polly to stir,
To leave her patterned covers,
To choose her bag
For school today,
The folded care of others ....

Polly's mind is famined
Cloistered,
No ordinary little girl ...

Which bag today
Polly dear I coax:
"Peppa Pig, Little Mix, Mister Tumble Or Frozen".

Polly chews Peppa Pig,
We head for school ...

Watching her through railings
Arguing with puddles,
Waving at,
But not waved back ....
