Analysis of Shaken

The days are longer.
The nights as well.
The sun doesn't shine.
The stars have all fell.

The world has stopped spinning.
Birds have lost flight.
Curled up in a corner by myself with no lights.

My nightmares are day-mares.
My day dreams are lost.
My Spring is now Autumn.
Summer has brought frost.

The clouds are all grounded.
The moon has gone black.
My past pushes forward.
My future held back.

My heart has lost function.
The beating’s not there.
Grasping for something.
Gasping for air.

The nights are much longer.
The days are as well.
Still the sun will not shine.
And the stars have all fell...
