Analysis of No Title As Of This Date…

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

No Title As If This Date.

It may be quite some time
Before I see you again
Will you remember me
Or will you have another
Who has taken my place
In your heart and not in our home
If you choose to do it
Just make sure you do it right
Please get a divorce first
And then get on with your life
Take care of the children
Too raise them as best you can
I hope you’ll be happy
With the life that you do choose

About this poem

This one is from the dark years collection as well…Although I feel a little confused as to whom I wrote it to or for exactly what reason…I guess there are just those times where there is no rhyme or reason…I reached into the deck and this is what I pulled from the hat…Who knows I will ever find a title for it…
