Analysis of My Drifting Soul
Some memories go back and back
And hover for awhile.
Some do feel good while some attack.
And leave hope in a pile.
Some memories can make me glad;
I wish that I had more,
While some depress or make me mad
Just like they did before!
The mental wind that takes my soul
To hell and back again
Still tries to take a heavy toll.
Sometimes I cannot win.
